Just when I think I've heard all the crazy phrases the Kiwi language has to offer, I'm presented with this little gem from my flatmate after watching a commercial of some guy bungy jumping off the Auckland Sky Tower.
Me: That looks like it would rock!
Flatmate: I think you'd pack your Daks.*
Me:(I do a fast process of all of my known Kiwi phrase references and come up blank.) Um, please translate.
Flatmate: Pack your Daks...you know...crap your pants.
Me: Oh, okay, that too, but it would still rock.
*Correct spelling for Daks provided by Fi.

That one's a keeper. I'll be incorporating it into my daily vernacular.

Dacks is actually for Daks, a well known mens clothing manufactuter.
True.

I'm sure Daks is proud to have such a quotable attributed to them. I may have to use it, too.

I got that straight away - but it IS the first time I've heard it!
*files away for future use*
