It's gone beyond surreal when:
You are enjoying Mom's homemade chili and watching an episode of NCIS with the parents. Not one of us even flinches when the scene moves to Ducky's autopsy suite where the dead man on the steel gurney is sporting that lovely Y-incision, complete with a full-on view of his internals. Mmmm.....chili anyone?
